WWOOF With Us

WWOOFing at Kibò Farm is an opportunity to learn practical farming skills, explore a Sicilian Farm, connect with where food comes from, and have a fun and inexpensive eco-vacation. Organic farming is hard work, and we don’t take shortcuts. But we believe that there’s a lot of satisfaction, enjoyment, and positive energy that comes from being in the beautiful outdoor environment and working with our hands in a way that is good for the earth and for our bodies.

WWOOFers are part of our family. They live with us and learn from us, and we learn from them. We enjoy having them and helping to promote an educational exchange in order to build a global community conscious of ecological farming practices, which have all but disappeared in most modern farms.

Kibò Farm is in operation all year-round. Our primary produce is olives, walnuts, and wheat, though we also produce many fruits, herbs, and vegetables on a smaller scale. Almost everything we need to eat and cook with we grow ourselves. Each season has its own special sights and sensations, and we invite you to come and participate.

If you are serious about organic farming and would like to work on the farm in order to learn more, we encourage you to consider WWOOFing with us. We offer room and board in exchange for labor. WWOOFers are expected to help on the farm for 8 hours per day, and have evenings and weekends to do as they please. During peak harvest times, WWOOFers may be asked to work longer hours, but receive more days off in exchange.
